Finally getting out of debt and into saving. Having cut back enough to be able to aggressively pay off debt, when it was cleared I just kept the same patterns up and have therefore been able to put that money into savings.
I have this as well - but interest rates are so low at the moment (and have been for years) that savings accounts essentially lose money over time because the “interest” is an order of magnitude lower than inflation.
