Just remember when using Edge for the first time to type Dow in the address bar, it will automatically know you want to download Chrome and once installed you can continue ignoring Edge like its supposed to be. I’m pretty sure at one point you could type just a D into edge and the first suggestion would be Download

We got upgraded to Megabus Gold and it had a “flight attendant”. Was really comfortable and the free snacks and drinks were great. All because our bus was delayed due to a crash that obviously wasn’t the companies fault.

If I felt the same way about my microwave I’d probably just find a cupboard somewhere to shove it until needed. We have a rice cooker and deep fat frying multi-cook thing (that has never been used) stored away because of lack of surface space but that isn’t always an option either.

I was going to suggest gain more weight. The other option would be to get weaker by not training for a while. I don’t think the article is written with laziness in mind.

Thanks for 6! I don’t know if I open enough additional windows of the same app for it to become normal usage but its in there now. Have just realised that shift+left clicking on a taskbar app also opens a new window. +1 for minor productivity gains.

Is downloading the local maps using the “Offline Maps” feature on iOS? Whenever I have tried to download maps that way in Android it shows a message that it can’t be done. Everywhere I search suggests the offline maps feature isn’t available in Japan because the maps provider doesn’t allow it.

I second the Villa Fontaine Shiodome Hotel. Stayed there last summer and it was convenient from Haneda airport and subways system. It was one of the cheapest hotels we could find at the time, had a reasonable amount of space considering the location and price.

Google Maps doesn’t allow offline downloading of maps of Japan. I thought something might have changed since last summer but I tested now and still the same. It was annoying when I was there but having a portable WiFi hotspot made all the difference. A reasonable backup app that does allow map downloads is Here Maps.

Whenever I got the flu or similar my gran would give me a big bottle of Lucozade. It totally rots teeth but good for quick boost of energy. I like its background - was invented in the UK and started off in hospitals then no doubt banned because they realised just how bad it is for people. I think the US equivalent

That fake-out John did at about 4:43 was gold!

This feels reprehensible to me, you are potentially stopping people from seeing the movie.

These Transformers/Toy Story crossover toys seem relevent! Found in a Kiddyland toy store near Harajuku, Tokyo.

Really missing some meat :). I’d put in some chopped up sausages and some spice. Make the onions red onions and fry them with the sausages and leave them in so it has a sweetness to it. You might as well put in some oregano and garlic powder now you’ve done all that. This is pretty much the pasta sauce I make all the

I missed the context because I haven’t read the book!

Spoiler Alert - in Murder on the Orient Express Depp is murdered pretty quickly. Which was good because I find him boring as fuck.

If it grows out of her like deer antlers or something it would make sense that each time it is slightly different. Its almost like an organic structure and trying to make that the same every time you want to look more badass would be difficult? Obviously I don’t know the answer but it’s fun speculating.

To me the notch doesn’t make sense - every app will need to work around it making the spaces at the side pretty much useless. If you extend videos or games to the extreme edges you miss on content in the middle and if you shrink content the extended spaces will have what? the time/battery percentage? Only the

I do miss the toilets in Japan but coming from the UK we never really see bidets anywhere. I think some places in Europe have the non-smart versions but not in the UK really.

My wife bit into a paintball thinking it was some kind of sweet and that sounded pretty damn disgusting! Avoided natto at all costs in Japan, it just doesn’t look like something to be eaten

One day after my birthday, killer planet is also kind!
