Schadenfurd.
Fuck.
Doesn’t the Fit weigh something like 500 pounds less? Something tells me the Fit still comes out in front in the power/weight department.
If you think the 2.4L in the CRV is too small, you’re going to think Honda is nuts for putting the 1.8L into the HRV. It’s barely enough for the Civic which weighs 300lb less than the HRV.
Believe it or not, the manual actually feels slower than the CVT. The engine makes very little torque, and doesn’t hit peak torque until something like 4200RPMs. It takes absolutely forever for the revs to build, especially once you have a couple extra bodies to haul around, whereas with the CVT you get put into the…
Um, the motor is the same old R18 engine that Honda has been using in the Civic since 2006.
Reminds me of a CC, and not in a good way.
Rear needs more flare.
MB now slaps the AMG badge on AMG-sport models too, to compete with BMW’s M-Sport line.
Am I the only one who hates the rear of the LX more than the front? The ass looks like...well, ass.
I’m pretty sure it varies by job function. Engineering tends to have it the best at most companies, whereas some of the less technical departments tend to be much more cutthroat.
I’m also a software engineer and we call it pager duty.
That ass looks like...well, ass.
The other side of the coin is that you lose all flexibility. Lets say you’re looking for a car in a particular color that the dealership doesn’t have and can’t trade for. Under a fixed price model, you wouldn’t be able to negotiate a lower price for a color that isn’t your top choice. Or what if you don’t want to pay…
Can you lemon a lemon and get a brand new car?
My dealership experiences have been pretty good. Fire off an email to a bunch of dealerships in the area asking if they can do the invoice price, take 5 of the lowest prices, and email them asking if they can beat the lowest quote. Do a little back and forth, get the out-the-door price, then just walk in with the…
There’s plenty of things you can haggle on. Houses, rent, mattresses, salary, drugs, whores, etc. It’s a life skill.
Would your rather pay MSRP for something knowing everyone else pays MSRP, or have the option to haggle down?
It boggles my mind how most the unrepentantly judgmental people I come across don’t come from money.
