No haggling? Did Lexus hire Ellen Pao to head their corporate strategy department or something?

“Millennial” is the new “Cloud”
I imagine it would be similar to Scion, where you wind up overpaying compared to the competition. I had a friend who was able to buy a BRZ for less than an FRS because Scion wouldn’t haggle. Their loss, his gain.
Absolutely.
Considering a 435i bases at a few thousand more, it’s not exactly ludicrous. It’s pretty reasonable considering how much it would cost you to get a G37/Q60, 435i, c350 coupe, A5/S5, etc.
If anything, the rich are more able and apt to pay sticker than the poor, so I’m not sure what you mean.

Welp, his practice’s Yelp page sure has blown up:
Original source says Minnesota and has a name + photo.
My only concern would be present (or actually, future) day traffic. The traffic is orders of magnitude worse today than in 1984, and based on trends I don’t foresee it getting much better by 2024. Metro does have plans to finish a bunch of expansions to the Westside, but a light rail system on city streets is never…
The only thing missing from LA is the transportation angle. The Metro rail line plus the Metrolink train line can’t support something of this magnitude, and traffic is terrible as is during any hour of the day.
I think a used car might be the best bang for the buck. Sure, the Mitsubishi has a 10 year 100K mile powertrain warranty, but that’s contingent upon them staying in the US for the next 10 years.
I have yet to see on in Los Angeles, a land where at some point or another you can see pretty much every car ever made.
Miata is not always the answer.
You beat me to it.
Wait, the report didn’t say that the wagon isn’t coming to the US, right? It just implied that market demands in the US is why they’re making a sedan version? So there’s still a chance they might bring the wagon over? Right? Right?
I didn’t realize pickups were as fun as motorcycles.
The kicker is that if those 4 hours was actually worth $2500, you’d probably also have enough money to buy the latest and greatest new car at asking price.
Could you honestly spend $2500 for a better 2 hours than you would elsewhere?
What’s to say the fools throwing crap at the Mexico game weren’t “American” too. Do you think that many people actually travelled from Mexico to go to the game? I’m willing to be the vast majority of Mexico fans at the game live right here in the US.
