If by care you mean my blood pressure spikes, they’re doing their job beautifully. A quick battery cable disconnect/reconnect after a long drive and they stop waggling. Not sure what the logic is, but that fix has worked every time.

Has there ever been discussion of joker laps in F1? I can imagine there would be safety concerns, but if the joker lane merged back in off the racing line with enough visibility, it could shake things up and inject more strategy into the race.

You can and should get a six-speed manual with the Sport, instead of the continuously variable automatic for an extra $800

For ergonomics, I’ve only felt comfortable as a taller driver in the Civic and the GTI, and the Civic wins because it is the only one that comes in a coupe. The Focus ST was super narrow in knee room and cargo/back seat was non-existent. Hyundai Veloster’s roof slopes down from the top of the windshield instead of

That’s the big complaint I hear about the Honda head units, which have a touch volume button. Who thought that was a good idea?

My E30 gauges like to waggle all over the place when my battery is disconnected after a while, because the SI batteries are going. Such a great touch.

Renault needs to tape this onto Ricciardo’s wheel. Or maybe whatever button shifts to reverse.

Bring back the Scirocco. Bring back the Corrado.

If Ferrari can figure out their pit strategies in a way that will actually help LeClerc, he can still be a strong contender. I will admit that he does make mistakes, like the qualifying crash in Baku. But Chuck has a great shot at doing well once the Ferrari pit wall gets their shit together.

Yeah, I can’t find anything about stateside streams or broadcasts. It will be on Channel 4 in the UK, which it seems like you may be able to stream for free, but I have no idea if their streaming is region-locked.

I don’t support phone use and driving, but times and attention spans have irreparably changed. That and most cars sold these days are commuter CUVs without any enjoyable driving qualities, so you find better ways to distract yourself because 130hp through a CVT to FWD isn’t going to hold your attention for very long.

+1 star for you sir.

Current autonomous car systems have failed to prevent accidents in several instances already, and also do not have any means to force the driver to take action. If you had an IV pump that processed your input incorrectly, and overdosed a patient, would you continue to use that model of IV pump before you recognized

As a newer fan of F1, I completely agree. I’ve finally found a racing series that I don’t have to dedicate the whole afternoon to (a la NASCAR). I find the drivers’ personalities are extremely interesting, and despite Mercedes’ dominance of the season so far there’s still 21 races left for the other teams to catch up.
