We can’t argue about how one car looks better than another. To you, the Corvette looks gorgeous. To me, it finally looks the part of a world-beating car, but I still think the 599 is better looking. Pininfarina would tend to agree with me.

Everything on the 599 was designed to function, not just to look good. The buttresses channel air to the rear for better aero performance, and the rear brake vents cool the brakes.

Did these still have the vacuum-disconnect front axle? It would make sense you don’t have drama shifting into 4WD if you pull the lever and nothing happens.
