@bobkoure: If you're bouncing from Bach to Mastadon to old Motown recordings then I can see where you could get some mileage out of automatic level control. It's just not for me, even if I'm listening to a mix with lots of dynamic changes, I'm still going to use my volume knob. But that's just me. Maybe I'm old school.

Here's a solution, it's called the volume knob. It's super easy.

@The Menace: Exactly. There's still lots of mileage that web developers, video editors, and audio engineers like myself can get out of multiple monitors.

@Mark Tomlin: Same here. I could care less. Everyone just tunes ads out anyway. I honestly cannot remember the last time I clicked on an ad, anywhere.

"Each pilloe costs between $129 - $149." Well-executed spelling of pillow, Kat. I like it. Sounds British :)

@Jason Flindall: between BP, the Mayans, the Large Hardon Collider, gays now being able to drive, and Palin possibly running for Pres in 2012, I'd say we've been fucked for quite some time.

@jayhawk11: I would not be surprised if that binder actually exists.

Great, but what happens when the pressure of the capped well becomes so great that the giant methane bubble underneath the reservoir pops and kills the entire planet in a fiery shitstorm? Eh? What then?

This reminds me of the TV setup at the recording studio I work for. In the two big music/post rooms, there's a giant old Sony Trinitron monitor mounted behind the SSL console. They've wired a custom button on the console that reads "Open Sesame". When pressed, it sends the 80 lb. TV up from behind the console on an

@RoboticSpacePenguin: Still one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time. If Dre can get on the same level as Deltron 3030 I think Dre has the potential to completely re-invent himself.

Shucks, I was really holding out for a free Justin Beiber calendar...

This is truly a ROFLcopter.

@Time Pilot AKA: Good point. I'm a drummer as well, and a spot of velcro would be just about the same as a piece of Moon Gel, which I usually drop on my snare anyway. I think I just found a weekend project.

@Time Pilot AKA: That sounds awesome. Only thing I would do different is attach the LEDs to the inside of the drum shell, and not the head. Not to many drummers are going to want their sound deadened. But you're definitely on to something. Post pics of a prototype :)

@pixelsnader: I see your spoiler, and raise you a more obnoxious spoiler:
