On Mel, well, consider the source. Joe Eszterhas hasn't exactly been the bestest friend to women and minorities, either. They're both creeps, as far as I'm concerned. Creeps writing books about other creeps, all the while I wonder who died and made it 1994 again?

Would you mind expanding on that a bit? I can sort of see where you're coming from, and am curious to the reasoning. I'm being 100% sincere, and no snark is intended. Ha ha, I'm usually pretty quick, but today I must admit I'm a wee slow to grasping certain concepts. I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'm not

I adore your response more than you can possibly know.

Huh. By that logic, camping, showers, and doing it should scare the hell out of you, too. (If you have sex in a horror movie, you die. Thems the rules.)

That's really sweet. Sappy ain't so bad!

She was probably assured over and over that it would be something different after the editing stage. Like they told her, "yeah it seems like you're covered in man gravy, but after we throw some this and that, you'll look like a statue in the rain", or something like that. I haven't watched it yet (it's not safe for

Amen! It's why the gods gave us hangovers!

Um, okay. That's really neat.

He raised a very bright and thoughtful daughter, so he must have been doing something right.

...I'm disturbed by this. I'm disturbed because the emphasis seems to be on the details. Almost eagerly on the details.

We should start forcing people with STDs to get tattoos. That would solve that problem.

Valid point. Quite valid.

Oh, Jenny... This thing she's doing, calling out Jim for not seeing her son, is bad. Bad, bad, bad. As a single parent, I can vouch for how a breakup can affect a kid. BUT. Those two were not married, and Jim has no obligations to that child. Now you might think, "a good person would, take the high road, buddy!"

I love Lindy. I love her so much. Even when I don't like or care for or agree with her articles, I love her style, her flair, her voice. And this right here: "Ragamuffin Finds Magic Lamp, Wishes for More Wishes." made me love her even more.

"It would be outrageous to mar a person that's clearly going places—clearly seeking to have a career...with a criminal record."

That'll do, brat.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. He was very involved, whether it feels like it to you or not.

That most certainly was NOT a Sweet Valley High romance. I have read the Sweet Valley High books. And I very much enjoyed to additions the show made.

Very well put. Also, the man who wrote the books had heavy, heavy influence on the direction the season's stories took. I see the television show as a way for the author to address some scenarios he wished he had added. It's all good.

Genius! Yes, Nina Osegu, you are right!
