I’d watch the hell out of a Connect Four side tournament.

This is a pretty focused effort from Ms. Swift, who normally disrespects all of music at the same time.

He always smashes up NLBC though. I’ll say it worked if it works on Goichi. And I’ll say it grudgingly as hell, because competing in a furry suit is objectively wack.

“...but if you ever tell anyone this story, I’ll divorce you.”

Newton’s Third Callback.

Example of how I’m feeling in 2018: as I read the first half of your comment, I started wincing because I was worried that it was going to turn out to be some sarcastic or nasty thing about the MSD kids. Thanks for being a pleasant surprise.

I took the comment you’re responding to as a joke response to the headline. “Turning the tools used on survivors against Bill Cosby” would be drugging him, since the “tools” used on these women were drugs.

I hope you’re right on the latter stuff. I don’t want to throw the league off a cliff or anything. Not really buying the age thing though. This dude is 21, xQc is 22, and Taimou is 24, just to run through some of the people making bad headlines. That’s older than most NBA rookies, about the same as a lot of NFL

There is a hell of a lot of middle ground between “being perfect” and racism, homophobia, and trying to have sex with teenagers. I’m not looking for perfection, I don’t need a league full of people dedicating their lives to charity or whatever. There are just a surprising number of people out of this very small pool

Thanks for the link and explanation.

The defensiveness in the comments here is crazy. Yeah, there’s bad behavior in other leagues. But the numbers for OWL are out of control. The NBA has almost four times as many active players as OWL (not to mention the G League), the NFL has something like fourteen times the number of players. It would be bonkers as

So I’m not a vroom vroom guy, can any wild Jalopnik readers explain why he took off too soon there? It sounded like they said the chief(?) or somebody gave him the green light. Curious about precedent and who’s likely to take the blame, or what may happen to them.

Seeing someone miss an easy pop-up and hang their head in shame like that is giving me grade school PTSD.

+1 bright eye

I think that you’re thinking of Mayor McCheese.

Yeah! He should have just signed with a different Overwatch league. Instead he’s out here answering questions about his reaction to something in a frank and honest manner. What a jerk.

The UFC screwing themselves out of a replacement fight via their shambolic rankings is hilarious as hell.

I don’t think I’ve ever been able to make it through more than about 20% of these. I know these people exist, but to actually peek under the bandages and see them all gross and festering is too much for me.

It’s not like people are advocating for this dude to be hauled out back and shot, or cast out of society forever and sent to live on an island. I think the disappointment and frustration just comes out of how constantly people in high-paying, visible positions with large followings feel no hesitation or shame over

I think the whole thing is automated at this point. With how often OWL players say and do awful and stupid things, it would take a lot of extra time to actually select an appropriate charity each and every time they do.
