My ‘05 Pacifica had it and I loved it... then the ‘07 Altima I got to replace it didn’t. And now I have a ‘14 Mustang which, as you noted, also doesn’t have it... bugs the hell out of me that a car that new doesn’t have a simple electronic convenience like that.
