I wonder what screening process they go through to get on the list? Do they just have to have a license, and probably pay a referral fee? The Home Depot people had no idea what the rates would be. When they delivered the heater, it was the same guy who helped me in the store and I told him how obnoxious the pricing…

Ya, this guy mentioned that the fee included City permits. I’m positive I dint needs permit to replace a 40 gal water heater with a 40 gal water heater. Seriously, all of these guys suck. Good job for reporting them!

Infuriating, right? These guys didn’t seem to care that the heater was already delivered to my house. Weird. They all apparently have their own unique ways of tormenting us.

I did two shots of Malibu rum (it was in the fridge and open, don’t judge) to brace myself for a cold bath.* It did not work. Holy moly, cold water is cold, and Malibu is not strong enough to counter. I splish splashed the priority areas and then washed my hair in the sink. Brrrr.
