I don’t think we have too many urban deer and turkeys here. I’ve been in San Diego for 20 years and seen zero (lots of opossums, skunks, and a few raccoon though). I did see quite a few deer (hit one) and turkeys on rural interstates and highways in Nebraska though.

So sad, but sweet that people actually check.

He was a pretty quick, unpredictable flier and I was afraid I might hurt him if I tried to catch him. Plus, he was relatively near the back door, so I just left it open all night and he left mid-morning (at his moth leisure).
