I really like these more technical articles. Specs don’t interest me anywhere near as much as the engineering and design behind them.

Thats a pretty “fine” bumper put onto an otherwise boring $100k+ convertible.

I could see getting tired of them when looking at it from that point of view. For me personally, I look at them as some of the worlds greatest designers getting to go wild with their designs and we actually can get our hand on it. Sure its not a “real” car but I think its still neat to play with such great designers

Not only is it HotWheels...it’s one of those ‘character as car’ HotWheels thing. It’s motherf—-ng Master Chief as a car. A Lamborghini even. Its outrageous. Its wrong. Its glorious. It should be real.

I’ll never be able to look at a Urus without immediately seeing those incredibly basic door handles surrounded by crazy Lambo bodywork. Like, they seriously couldn’t make some angular door handles and actually place them on the body crease?

If they’re not going to give us clutches anymore, would it kill them to at least give is a nice, solid-feeling, rally-style short-throw sequential stick?

Why wait? Just buy a Lotus. It’s better in most ways.

I own a 4C, live a short drive away from an epic mountain road, and did a 5000 km road trip to Northern California this summer along epic back roads. You’re wrong. On a great mountain road, the manual steering and double clutch work together perfectly.

Good car with the wrong transmission.

There are still pure sports car people out there, but those people dont want a flappy paddle set up on a 4 banger.

Same situation here. I spent a day swapping between the Elise and a 4c over a variety of roads. The 4c is too crappy from a handling, suspension, fun sports car perspective. And if it’s going to be that crappy it’s going to have to feel so achingly exotic and cool that I overlook that. And no matter how many times you

Compare this with the design mess that is the C8.

To be fair, $850k seems pretty cheap for a car with such a limited production run, so at least it’s better than the multi-million-dollar Bugattis.

I almost don’t care what powers it, coz it looks soooooooo goooooooood.

I wonder if anyone has ever put an old engine in a new car? You just made me imagine a new Camaro with an old ‘60s Beetle engine.

Hypocrisy is still hypocrisy even if it’s a means to an end.

  1. Buy Subaru with no money down, 72-month, $1000/month loan

You’re right, it didn’t bug me in Batman Begins, I was only bothered by the choice in the Dark Knight, because the Reventon had come out by then. And props for recognizing the screen cap i originally posted as being from Batman Begins.

Bruce Wayne drove this Murcialago, which is a fine choice....EXCEPT the movie i believe came out right when the Reventon did as well.

Sorry but I don’t buy that. There’s gorgeous women who’d never give me the time of day* but I still understand why people are keen to look at them; there’s art that I’ll only ever experience in museums or online, but it’s still desirable. Same applies to cars.
