Looking closely at the photos, they aren’t scans, nor are they from a brochure. The “crease” on the right side of each image is similar across pictures, just shifted up or down. Cool idea. They really do look about 15-20 years old.

Small correction: “Photo: Lotus/Tommy Wiseau.”
Do antiDentites ride Hondas?
Go to hell, you racist dental student. Nice work showing your true colors before you got rich enough to buy new.
After that godawful side-by-side, here’s a reminder that the Q7 used to be a great looking vehicle.
Lolz
Look, I get it. It’s an election year, Everybody Hates Trump, etc. But please, from a practising scientist, reconsider your rhetoric for the time being.
Hyundai/Kia have a small history of continuing production on low volume sports cars from other manufacturers. Clearly it’s time for the Hyundai Sesto Elemento. C’mon, Hyundai. You know you want to.
And Lamborghini. Although his direct input stopped at the Murcielago, his design direction certainly influenced the Reventon and Sesto Elemento, both of which are the performance flagships of current Hyundai in another universe:
Wow. I didn’t know ostriches lived in the Sahara.
Exactly. Every time I’m driving through uninhabited South Africa, I just stop at the Starbucks(es) that litter the route.
As much as I’d welcome it, what you have there is (essentially) a modified Elise with a GM 4cyl. No way that would come in at <$50k, even with a Yaris powertrain. Though the Elise is full of off-the-bottom-shelf parts, other aspects (chassis, body panels, suspension) hike the cost up.
Exactly, which is why I drive slowly and carefully if conditions necessitate it. Never overriding your headlights (and your skill, traffic levels, etc.) is as good advice for motorcycles as any other vehicle. I’m not condoning irresponsible driving, just acknowledging that bad visibility = slow, careful driving (which…
I can certainly vouch for you. I commuted on probably those same roads every night at 11pm, also in a low car notorious for crappy lights. Even going ten under and watching the roadside very carefully with hi-beams, I’d miss raccoons, deer, etc. hiding in the brush. A light bar would have prevented many heart attacks.…
How did you find a photo of future Andrew? And where’s the Scout?

I’m guessing we have some decades between us. Or I have some studying to do.
It feels very strange looking at these images and being utterly unable to name anything without close examination. Especially when I can name just about anything made in my lifetime in a nanosecond from the bottom edge of a single side mirror (that’s hyperbole).
Neat, thanks. Are those just for track duty?
What kind of wheels are they?
