Hah! I’ll have to take your word for it. I was 8 when Alpha Centauri came out and I doubt our crappy Compaq from Circuit City could run it. It could barely run Windows 98.

Maybe Midnight Suns? Turn-based deck builders are great when you’re stoned, but Midnight Suns has a lot of story and the UI is a little convoluted. Still, figuring out an encounter really wrinkles a brain on THC.

Super agree with this. Civ VI is a game I kept going back to and then leaving.

What? The article says the trooper was injured not killed. Also, there’s bodycam footage in which the cops make it sound like it was one of their guys that accidentally shot the other trooper.

This might sound overly conspiratorial, but is it a good idea to track your menstruation in the US right now?

I mean, yeah, it’s a big game and the media is a reflection of our consumption habits. In this case, it’s a voracious need for more articles to click on “the big thing”.

Counter to the majority opinion, and despite how much I loved the original Deus Ex’s commitment to player choice, I didn’t mind the boss fights in HR all that much. It was a change of pace from using stealth the whole game, but it was also an opportunity to unload all the equipment that had piled up as well as to try

I hear you. I was also thinking Jordan Peele. Race is a glaring omission in RoboCop and I don’t doubt Peele can do something special with that.

If they gave Robocop to someone with Verhoven's weirdness but more modern sensibilities, we could get a great piece of political satire. I don't see Amazon doing that, though.

I’ll echo everyone else and say SG-1 is worth the watch. It’s definitely of it’s time so there are some cringey episodes, but there’s a lot to find there. It doesn’t quite have the intrigue or humor of the X-Files and doesn’t get as deep with high concepts as Star Trek, but it’s fun and the characters are great.

I can’t say I know PointCrow’s intentions, but doing stuff like modding games, bringing exposure, and otherwise engaging in transgression on things like copyright law is part of pushing back against companies. Our relationship with Nintendo/Sony/MS/any company is inherently adversarial. After all, if Nintendo could

I think they were there to rescue all of the younglings but only Grogu made it out alive (well, Reva too, I guess).

Elon Musk is no Hank Scorpio.

I waited until the middle of last year to return to Cyberpunk.

Can you share the model Dell you have? I want to compare.

I’m rooting for these guys if only because I hope Framework’s success could improve value for consumers somewhat.

These automated weapons will still be subject to the whims and biases of whoever is using them.

You’re surprised that they chose a story that relates directly to Joel and Ellie’s emotional arcs?

What other recourse is there for trans people? For them, this is a fight for their humanity and their safety. Data regarding the well being of trans people bears that out?

For sure, it is complicated.
