I’ve never kept up with Jeopardy or Trebek so I’m only aware of this instance because of its relevance to me which shows bias on my part. However, it is fallacious to say that because nobody took note before, then this outrage (I’m not very outraged) isn’t warranted.

I want to believe that but when I watch the clip I see this person who is proud of who she is but also awkward and vulnerable next to the smooth personality of Alex Trebek, and, instead of alleviating any of that, Trebek punches down.

This is what bugs me the most. I was really looking forward to working with bolt action rifles.

Misreading people becomes a big a problem. When you’re insecure, every little thing can feel like a slight, which has added layers of complexity when you can’t tell if someone is being a dick or not. It’s social anxiety incarnate.

I should clarify that I have empathy for the guy if only because I’ve been there, and in some ways, I still am. There are voices in your head that you can’t shake sometimes. They tell you that you’re not good enough and that you don’t deserve to be happy. They keep you from pursuing that new better job because there’s

This is exactly it. You can tell what kind of attitude he has by the way he talks about “cruelly” attractive women. I’m sure women smile at him, just not the ones he finds attractive. Too many men still think they’re entitled to a beautiful women because deep down inside they’re “nice” guys.

Might scrub under my knee as often as I wash my feet which is maybe once a month.

Even having friends to play with doesn’t help much.

It’s in everyone’s nature to get defensive when you’re told that whatever device you’ve sunk a couple of hundred dollars into isn’t the best purchase.

Are you using quotations because that “quirk” might be a feature? On top of that, something like 1 in 4 credit scores are inaccurate.

That’s the Thiel philosophy and we don’t like that guy ‘round these parts.

I love me some Game Grumps. Recent I’ve taken to watching people play Space Engineers before knocking out. It’s a game that I find frustrating to play but too enticing to let go.

Either one is rough. Best we can do is march forward and seek out the occasional refuge.

Right now, anxiety diarrhea.

Also also, I hope NMS doesn’t transport his ship. I remember deciding to take a long stroll from my ship only to find it parked at a different settlement.

I know I shouldn’t. The game is fun but it isn’t what was promised.

The AI isn’t too clever so it isn’t about always overpowering your opponent with a higher score. I often let the AI win a round but I make sure it costs them. You can goad the AI into using a lot of their cards by dropping some heavy hitters and then pulling them back with decoys or holding on to medic cards that let

This!

If life went on forever, would its experiences still hold the same value?

Being raised Catholic contributed to my atheism.
