I think they only wanted us to feel what was shown: Keane had become part of the problem, but was able to make a step toward change. It doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that, and the difficult history you mention in fact lends weight to this rather than subverting it. I certainly didn’t feel it was smug;

I, for one, LOVED this episode. Too often shows like this race toward the finish line and leave little time for a denouement, but this episode gave it all to us: getting Simone not only out of Russia but in the witness chair before Congress, the vindication of the President...and then they fucked it all up with her

Chris Farley and John Belushi would like a word...

When people ask me why do I still watch Homeland, action sequences like the last 20 minutes of this episode are the reason I give. Homeland still knows how to create tense, exciting action.

I watched the first couple of episodes because I like Aaron Paul and I was unimpressed. I also really liked dancy in Hannibal, but he bugged me here for some reason. His jaw was so clenched when he would emote I couldn’t take it anymore.

Did anyone ever watch this show?

It is sort of Brit Marling’s thing to play an ambiguously messianic yet possibly manipulative and full of shit cult leader. Would be interesting if she wrote it, too

Paley’s moment of truth was in the car when his

The wording of the headline had me wondering when season 2 of Mindhunter was coming, but no word about that either. All in all, a disappointing article.

Buena Vista Social Fight Club

Maybe they’re confusing it with World War Zodiac.

After reading these comments, I think I’ll call them right now!

Orange is the New Mack

Mack moves from Amazon’s Lost in Oz to HBO’s Oz.

Mack Moves From Smallville to Big House

I was so excited the first time I went to Central Park because I was convinced I would find a dead body and be questioned by Lenny Briscoe.

I’m going to guess it was “Hey, you heard about these new corduroy pillows? They’re really making headlines.”

I’ve been a runner for nearly 20 years of my life, and I’ve logged around 20,000 miles in that time, on roads, grass, trails, beaches, you name it. And unlike nearly every murder mystery or episode of Law & Order, I have not once found a dead body.
