I was there for the Cyber Games thing a couple years back (2014, I think). Had some pretty good cosplay there too, which was both surprising and immensely gratifying.

Was there to make a ‘documentary’ for journalism college... didn’t need it, so didn’t happen.

Good time, anyhow.

*Sri Lankan.

I’m not one for nationalistic pride myself, but make that mistake there and you’d may get a lot of glaring eyebrows pointed your way.

He’s probably perfect ‘cause we’re a hairy bunch, though. A hairy ragey bunch.

Er. You can drag it? Never noticed. All I ever did was either click or tap literally any keyboard key.

Don’t like Pokemon, don’t like either Rihanna or Beyonce (enough to buy tickets to get virtually molested by screaming diehards, anyway) but how about they can do what they like if they’re not bothering you.

Was that intended to be Native American? Looks fairly similar to Horus, or Ra. Or anything Ancient Egyptian. Feathers, water, the works.

But he used their assets to create his mod, did he not? Shouldn’t he pay them to license it?

Shouldn’t have skipped the psych course while you were on that theoretical physics binge. Time may not work that way, but memory retention is another beast.

I’m going to assume you’re replying tongue-in-cheek here as well. The alternative is that you took a colloquial phrase at literal value, and I refuse to admit

Roger. Was raised Roman Catholic on my end; trying to read up on various faiths (and the differences between sects). Guy I know insists he made a ‘choice’ to follow his faith, but since his knowledge of other religions is... laughable, I dunno what kinda choice that is.

Well, that’s one way to listen to critics who said your game should have been a free-to-play. Do it after lots of people buy in!

I love all these satirical posts from wouldn’t-be sprint enthusiasts.

The difference is that Evolve was full-priced. F2P nickle-and-dime because your entry cost is zero. Getting nick-and-dimed after already buying in is nuts, especially given their lackluster offerings.

“Egad! This gun is now a throwaway shade of blue! I shall stand out like a prince amongst men!”

Get outta here with that reasonable talk! Pish posh!

Did you just stereotype app usage.

I’ve the opposite issue. Too many of the people I know are the direct embodiment of the 2-dimensional, vapid portraits (collectively) they display on social media.

Just what I need to make zombies flee at my terrifying fashion choices.

Fair point. Will take everything else you said at face value. A quick question, though? Are you similarly familiar with Islamic and/or Hindu history?

Agreed. See that storyboard thing with the collar they released? Feel like that would’ve been a better movie.

That’s very close to the same thing, isn’t it? And Leviticus has other issues within itself that contradict that line.

To be fair, the thing did look like rubbish. Second trailer was a bit better, but that whole, “30 years later” thing just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Many, many times, I get told a version of this during a ‘debate’: You just have to read it to understand.

Well, for academic purposes, I bloody well do want to know. For one thing, I’m beyond certain that they themselves have not read it, so being able to quote lunacy to stump them is a start.
