dumbly adhering to something that is not true for the sheer purpose of ticking people off seems... obnoxious.
But this is a woman pretending she doesn’t understand Zelda to make idiot fanboys mad.
But it wins elections...
I mean, some of it I find amusing - women pretending they don’t understand Star Wars to make idiot fanboys mad, for instance.
A better parallel is the Emperor. He wasn’t anywhere in New Hope (I think), came outta nowhere in Empire, they never explained who he was, and we just accepted it. I think people forgot that because eventually we came to know his story... a couple decades later, with the prequels (but hey, aren’t we supposed to hate…
This is what gets me, and I kinda wonder if the influence of the stupid prequels is to blame. The original movies had almost no backstory. The Empire was half-baked Nazis, the Rebellion was half-baked Allies. Done.
Taking a break to focus on his own issues and his family is definitely the right thing to do. That said, I hate when people make mistakes and then say “it’s not who I am.” Dude, it may not be who you want to be, but it absolutely is who you are or you wouldn’t have done it. That said, he definitely seems genuinely…
Except that Star Citizen has enough money to finish the game.
Really? because throwing a hissy fit over other players in a video game and their personal preferences sounds pretty kindergarten to me. If each match is that important why are you playing with randoms? Get a group of fri....people you know and tell them how to play their game.
you CAN actually win with a “non-optimal” team combo though, and sometimes easily because the enemy team is not prepared for your mix’n’match combinations.
But that goes against the mantra of the hyper-competitive - sorry - ASSHOLES who think that every game has to become a sport.
Sorry, not for everyone, not even for a…
But if he is that good with Symettra. Then why would you want him to switch. Taking your analogy that would be like saying “hey Lebron you’re taking too many shots. I know we are winning but it’s not a good way to play as a team”
Symmetra is a playable hero the game presents you with as an option. Where in baseball does it say “Hey man, you can run either way but people hate it when you go clockwise”?
If you’re the best at what you do. Then a team should be built around you not the other way around. Packers built a team around Aaron Rodgers. Didn’t say “hey we need you to be Brett Favre cause that’s who we normally build a team around”
>”A good time”
That’s not a good comparison at all... this Symettra player isn’t doing anything against the rules.
He’s not ruining it though ... he’s one of the best Symettra players in the world and with even a half decent team built around him I’m sure they’d be competitive.
Just another slave to the meta...
Why is it your job to pick someone you dont want? Play the way thats the most fun for you.
Except he’s good with that character? Doesn’t seem like he’s just messing around and causing them to lose.
