I wondered why he didn't just wait to get to work to make coffee, but then I'm not a coffee drinker.

That makes sense. I never thought of that. It's just that Teddy seems so traumatized this season. I guess being "pretend raped" can be traumatic in its own way. Thanks for the response.
I've been skimming through this season's and last season's posts trying to see what the consensus was on the "Did Daniel rape Teddy" question, but haven't seen anything.

I'm "living for Joan's dress" on my bedroom floor. I'm on life-support.
I think the curiosity would be hard to resist. I'm pretty sure I would at least take a bite. Who knows, if it were really delicious, and seeing as how it was going to be my last meal, I might even finish the plate.
Oh, man! I loved that show. The gauntlet was the best, though I was always kind of pissed that the monster hands that fell down in front of the contestant didn't actually inflict any damage.
I hate that Paul Bettany has all but disappeared. He was one of my favorite actors back in the early 2000s, or whenever he was at the height of his popularity. He was so good in "Gangster No. 1" and a bunch of other stuff. I hope he experiences an RDJ-level career resurgence from this, though that's probably unlikely.
I saw Judy Tenuta & Imo Phillips at the University of Columbia in the early 90s. They were both very funny. Also, I always thought Judy Tenuta and Elaine Boosler were hot. That is all.
Or the fact that he even has a sexual relationship with Dawn at all. She's his subordinate, right? They must have an anti-fraternization policy.
I agree. He's was my least favorite character, but his redemption was very interesting and compelling, even though it was very drawn out.
Man, I thought that, too. I thought, "how fucked up would it be if the season ends and Big Chief is still lying in bed coughing, and Antoine drops dead of a heart attack!"
Why not both? I'm kind of annoyed it took Annie this long to decide (I assume she decides, based on next week's preview) to go to Nashville. I understand loyalty, but isn't this what she's been working towards? I suspected that when she finally let the cat out of the bag to her band, they would tell her to go.
Hey, thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
No pearls of wisdom here, just chiming in to say I love "Treme" and will miss it when it's gone next week. I kind of like Davis, but maybe it's because I can relate to him. I don't know.
Ummm, okay. I was actually just using your message to post a "Stepbrothers" quote, but, whatever…
That's so funny the first time I heard that, I laughed so hard I fell off my dinosaur.
I'm a 40-something male. Attractiveness is so subjective, so this whole digression is meaningless, but there was definitely something very sexy and alluring about Sylvia, even as it was (purposely, I think) underplayed she was kind of "frumped up," just a tad.
Not that Treme doesn't have its share of sanctimony, but in that particular scene, one could argue that Hidalgo needs it spelled out for him.
I keep thinking that something like Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics would go far to improve this show. It's too bad this wasn't an "I, Robot" series with the same stars and art direction.
