I have not seen where Rowling has stated that she is using actual and factual American History to pull together her story. With the understanding that I have now, I see an author simply twisting up what was, and turning it into, this is how it was/is in my story.

And here I thought you were thinking of the nets that used to be at each hole... the real old way.

Sorry. I just don’t care about the theaters. Movie companies, sure, I get that. They need to make money to make more movies. Theaters ... naw, piss on them!

I don’t know. Me personally? I have seen three movies in theatres over the last forty-five years. Each time I go, it reminds me why I hate it. Movie goers and dumb asses in general that can’t shut up, and with technology now days, can’t stay off their bloody phones. So piss on going to the movies. Besides, in general,

“I love fantasy. I love all types of fantasy.”

“I assume...”

Please allow me to correct myself ...

“Diagon Alley”

“Fantasy is not a catch-all excuse.”

“America isn’t a fucking fantasyland.”

“...disregards something for the sake of the story.”

A single source is significant research? Ok... they must have really dropped the standards of validating data at your school. Please let me know what school this is so I never hire no one from there. Thanks in advance.

“ I have a fucking Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing so I know what I’m talking about. This was drilled into me by professor after professor, author after author, writer after writer.”

RE: DiVinci Code - “Being a huge bestseller didn’t stop it from being completely idiotic though.”

“You can’t just make shit up and claim it’s okay because “it’s fiction.””

Ummm ...

... .... ..... :shake head: ..... .... ...

Go read non-fiction.

“However, once you start writing a history of the real world mixed with the magical world, you start running into the fact that you need to know real history.”

“The entire basis for the series hinges on the fact that it’s alternate reality mixed with alternate history.”
