It wasn’t quite up to the standards of the classic series, but I still liked it a lot. Their biggest problem was firing off riffs too quickly (and occasionally prematurely). Hopefully, they’ll be more comfortable and settled in season 12.

I liked it. The first few episodes are kinda meh, with the characters taking a while to differentiate themselves, and a lot of the time in exposition laden world-building that kinda feels like someone trying to cram in all the backstory of a D&D campaign they made when they were 13.

I’m not a guy, but I am 32 and I can’t imagine having a 14 year old acquaintance. It is weird.

If that’s all he’s doing (offering dating advice) then in theory it’s fine, but how can one tell? In practice, that type of private relationship between an adult and a teenager (in which the adult is not in any type of parental role) is not a good idea.

Yeah, this seems pointless.

Honestly, I’d be excited for a live-action show set in that universe that told new stories. The live-action adventures of Avatar Roku or Avatar Kyoshi (or something set after Korra)? That could be absolutely thrilling.

But these seems like something that no one wants.
