How am I just now realizing that the white and blue of the Andromeda Initiative is the complete opposite of the red and black of the N7 armor of the previous games? I like it. White and blue is definitely more “optomistic” in tone.
Did indie devs make the Kingdom Hearts games? Because...
Mortar and Pestle.
Thank you, Oblivion...? Or Skyrim? Or Morrowind? I forget.
Try to hard... what?! Try to hard press on political themes? Try to hard hit on diversity issues in Hollywood? Try to harden down on taking a stance against low wages for voice actors these days? WHAT IIIIIISSSS IT?!
Yeah. That evil statue in Hateno should also run a stable, haha.
You should know that while you can ride the Stalhorse and Lord of the Mountain, you cannot register them/keep them.
What could’ve solved this would’ve been to make THAT shield like the Master Sword. When you get the Master Sword, it creates a new slot specifically for it, even if your inventory is full. Of course, then, THAT shield would have to be permanent and magically un-breaking, but that may make the Master Sword less...…
Later in the game when I upgraded my hearts a lot and I got better weapons, the only set bonus that I cared about what was the climbing gear in certain situations.
That’s the thing. Destiny 1 had two brand personalities going on. The serious one in the game, and the more fun one that took on the personalities of the people who play the game in the live action commercials. It’d be great if Destiny 2 found the balance between the two.
And that’s fine, but find a balance. I was way too distracted by Cayde rambling funny lines to even remember what Zavala was explaining to us. Which, yes, is somewhat the point, but still leaves me wary of what direction the game’s tone seems to be heading full force into.
Well, for people who don’t really follow the game closely, the Cabal being the antagonist here was a reveal (although was that shown in the teaser?). As was the “explanation” as to why our stuff is resetting in the next game. Other than that, yeah, nothing really revealed.
Blerf. I love Nathan Fillion and Cayde-6, but I felt like this was trying too hard to be funny. I actually miss the serious/mysterious tone of the first game.
Others have mentioned it, but there’s a very Borderlands-esque tone here, and I’m not crazy about it. I liked it more when Cayde-6 was a little more subtle with…
Why not go all out and make the front door a murphy bed?
For the record, it was just a joke. I’ll play D2 regardless.
It would’ve been nice to keep more of the cosmetic stuff we earned in D1, though.
And anyways, my comment could speak to the lore, too. All that effort we guardians made to protect the last city, and it looks like it still falls in D2.
Not at all.
That all of the hard work and efforts you made in the first game didn’t matter.
Gita, I’m gonna need you to go ahead and review more weird-ass gaming crossover products like this. Because I am in tears.
What bothers me is how stiff their hair is. And... flat? Like, that woman in the very first gif here looks like she has hair made of chocolate shavings.
