You should really watch this video if you want to see why it’s hard to believe that they were trying to make an actual game:

Are... you saying she should have post-traumatic fear of Asians now? The hell? The characters looked nothing alike.

While that’s true, capitalizing and italicizing the word “battle royale” suggests that it’s the title of something — like a movie, TV show, or book — and not a concept.

Well, the list says “if you liked Cyberpunk 2077", not “watch these cyberpunk anime”.

Is the whole “to make him look more like Tom Holland” an official thing said by Insomniac, or is that something news sites made up? Because I don’t know what y’all have been smoking, but he looks nothing closer to Tom Holland. Younger-looking than John Bubniak (the original Peter face), of course. But I see no hints

It usually just makes things out of view blurry. I don’t mind it for games where you’re supposed to be looking through a camera or through a futuristic helmet visor for extra immersion, but for everything else I can live without it.

Have you never been to a gaming news site before?

The graphics are clean and crisp, but otherwise it’s the same game that’s been available for years on Xbox One without the Undead Nightmare DLC for almost half that price.

You know, I’d log in regularly if it wasn’t a pain in the ass to update the Uplay/Ubisoft Connect/Usteam/Uwhateverthefuckitscalled software almost every time I log in. I get like 10 Windows Security prompts every time it updates.

The amount of input lag in that video makes me think it’s just a video playing on the display and he’s just mimicking the actions.

It’s funny how you see the people who don’t like exploits in a singleplayer game like this always going around saying “you’re cheating, you’re not playing the game right, how dare you, you’ve spit on my family name, etc.” but you never see the people using the glitches going around saying “people who don’t use these

Glad to hear it wasn’t just my theater. At first I thought the intro was intentionally quiet since I thought it was like a flashback or montage sequence, but past the title screen, I realized it was a little TOO quiet. A lot of the heavy hits felt undermined by the low volume in my theater. Watching it again in IMAX

It’s looking like a creepy pokemon to me now. Dunno if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

Is H1Z1 still around?

Whether you think you “knew” or not is not what matters here. When and where he wanted to deal with it is.

1. First time using a bath bomb? I’ve seen far worse color outcomes from other Lush bombs. At least you’d EXPECT this one to turn the water yellow.

Agreed. If you look at the other combat gameplay footage in that linked video, Cal looks very rubberband-y or like he’s magnitized to set positions for enemy interactions. Also a lot of times his lightsaber just clips through the enemies bodies several times without doing damage, which looks weird.

It did not exist in the original DS1 (you couldn’t respec in DS1). A similar exploit was doable in DS2, though, since they added respec to that.

It’s alien. In fact, at the end of the movie, you can see the moment when it comes to [Earth]. It’s another one of those little Easter egg moments, but when we revisit that footage where they’re on the Ferris wheel at the end, you can see the meteor flying down and hitting the ocean. That’s actually the beginning of

Was looking for Vox Machina on this list as well. Surprised it’s not on here.
