Just minutes ago got verification that they were able to get past all the obstacles (flooded in neighborhood, flooded in town, then all the closed roads) and are on their way to San Antonio for their flight to Delaware. I am so relieved!

Cajun Navy rolled into my town earlier today. I believe they were able to get out so they can make their way to catch a flight, trying to verify, but I think they will make it.

I unabashedly like her and wish her every success. Her books are delightful.

I’m just psyched for her in general. She wrote in her book about wanting to be a mother and have a family, and also about being super-busy. I’m glad that the baby part is coming true for her (fingers crossed!) She seems like a good person and terribly hard-working.
