Also, those monuments are ahistorical. If you wanted a statue of Robert E. Lee, the logical thing would be to make it of the moment where he surrendered to Ulysses Grant at Appomattox. That’s the significant historical moment in his life. And these monuments were built relatively recently, in the 60s as a response to

Now playing

I assume this is a remake of this Michael Caine film.

“My emotions!!!”

Please make this happen. It would only be successful if he had to do this from jail.

If you roast it long enough, no mincing is necessary.

I’m a fan of roasting a bulb or two of garlic covered in olive oil until the cloves are brown and mushy, and then mashing them with the potatoes. Apparently the post where I said this elsewhere actually does exist, but it does bear repeating.

Reminds me of going to my dad & stepmom’s to eat. Inevitably they make unseasoned salmon with frozen vegetables. Going out to eat with them is a challenge because they are afraid of flavor and unwilling to eat most things. It’s weird because my dad was always a pretty adventurous eater when I was growing up. But

I avoid the garlic press and add flavor by taking a bulb (or two or however many) of garlic, chopping the top off, coating it with olive oil and roasting it in the oven until it is brown and mushy. That way no garlic press is necessary, and you get something a lot more flavorful.

Old Jar Jar Binks is my guess.

NOTHING

He does know when things are balls, so that might help somehow.

The same percentage of the population that thinks of Pizza Hut when they think of pizza.

The whole experience was a great way to alienate new customers. Anyone who’s starting a new business wants to bend over backwards to keep people happy. Especially a business with the tight margins and turnover of a restaurant. It’s difficult enough to keep a successful restaurant open, but if you start by doing things

The smart thing would’ve been to comp the drink. But it’s possible that the bartender didn’t have the right to do so because of house rules on comping. It’s a stupid move by the restaurant because it’s pretty likely they’re turning customers away with their bad drinks instead of comping or making a replacement. But

As a kid, I remember having nightmares that featured a Muppet western town for some reason.

And there’s been a mass exodus of staff today. They’re doing a good job of gutting this place.

Acknowledged.

Who could tell? It’s Trump policy to cook meat until all flavor has abandoned it, so it could be anything.

That is because yours is a love that will reverberate throughout the ages. Or at least until your next performance review.

It’s the only human-sounding word in the whole post.
