As a society? Yes, in a lot of ways. As a website? Meh. The lack of articles objectifying women is definitely a positive. Jalopnik also had a much larger quantity of interesting articles about cars back then. I don’t blame Elizabeth for this, it’s more likely a lack of investment from their corporate overlords.

As someone who just started replaying un-modded Oblivion on Xbox I agree. Those faces are uglier than I remember. 

The article quotes her as saying she already had a successful career at that point. It is not a huge jump to assume she didn’t feel she needed the exposure. If the pay was too low she should have said no.

The fact that anyone’s childhood can be destroyed by a reboot of anything is laughable. Honestly, grow the fuck up people. I think most of the Star Wars movies made after the original trilogy are trash. This doesn’t ruin my childhood, or the enjoyment of those first three movies.

I understand why she would want to keep doing this, but as a viewer it seems a bit odd that they would swap out Pat and keep Vanna. To me it seems like a good time to rebrand/revamp the show for the next generation.

I didn’t realize we were talking about criminal proceedings. BTW, we weren’t. 

I just started replaying Oblivion on Xbox for the first time in 15 years. The characters are just as ugly as I remember, the world looks better than I thought it would in ‘23. I guess I should have waited a bit longer for this remaster. 

If that happens I just hope they continue making controllers. It’s 75% of the reason I’ve stuck with Xbox vs PS since the 360 generation.
