I definitely did not work for any company that paid 100% of healthcare costs. I am a salaried employee at one of the Detroit 3, and I certainly pay way more than 3% of my family’s costs.

You fail to mention that UAW workers pay around 3% of their total healthcare costs. That’s a huge value. Look at what most of us pay and try and figure out how much of your real income would increase if you only had to pay 3% of your healthcare costs.
