I hope your axe is sharp from all of that grinding you did.

Fanbelt? Are you still driving a car built prior to the 90's? :)
“On the other hand, the big shows get people excited about gaming as a concept even if they’re not waiting for any specific game, and that has value all on its own.”
“I’ve never played a Bethesda game, but would you really want to play a game where every NPC you come across has zero reason to interact with you and all the sidequests, etc get completed by other NPCs before you can get to them?”
It’s just a sign of the times. Trade shows are dead or dying across most industries. I work in a different industry that used to have a handful of marquee trade shows every year. They still exist, but they are all shells of their former selves. While the public days of such shows are what appealed to the consumers,…
“That lady” has been performing in the E Street Band since Ed was in diapers. She’s also playing a Takamine. I don’t follow Ed Sheeran, but he’s never had a Takamine when I’ve seen him.
I’m a 40 year old suburban dad who drives an Equinox. Nothing makes me feel cool while driving.
That’s the other thing, in my time with the game I didn’t accomplish much as far as progress goes. I completed one of the 4 dungeons and barely started Impa’s questline. I spent most of my time just wandering around and exploring. If I go back I’ll have to be more focused. On a good day I get an hour to game, so…
I agree, I’m a big fan of that one. The others don’t have much appeal for me.
I made the mistake of replaying BotW earlier this year. I was enjoying TotK, but I felt burned out after ~25 hours or so and haven’t returned to it yet.
It doesn’t bode well, but doesn’t mean the album is doomed either. I like A Bigger Bang quite a bit, and the lead single, Rough Justice, is one of my least favorite songs on the album.
I’m excited for this album, and am probably joined by 3 other readers of this site.
“I’d rather get carry-out”
It surprises me that it is equal across age ranges and races. I’m also kind of surprised at the differences in income level. While I get meat is expensive and that is likely part of the reason for the way the data shakes out, if you were to ask me to draw a typical vegetarian it would be a relatively young upper…
In Michigan it means that a person needs to have a certain amount of insurance coverage to go helmetless. In practice it means there is no helmet law. I’m guessing it’s similar.
I don’t quite get that. I suppose it makes sense because a dead person will no longer benefit financially, but does that mean it will be okay to watch the Cosby Show again after Bill Cosby dies?
It’s obviously my own opinion, but I think Frasier is miles better than Friends.
This is (probably) sadly true, but I think you could drop the 70's qualifier from your statement and still be accurate. As someone who pretty much breathes rock music, I choose to remain willfully ignorant of most of them. The general public continues to do it with Michael Jackson’s music, so why not?
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always struggled to keep my kettle below 300, which is part of the reason I’ve not attempted something like brisket. The other reason is that I’m not a fan of getting up early, and briskets take forever. I’ve always used what’s referred to as the Minion method when I smoke on my Weber.…
I’ll second the pulled pork and I’m planning on making one this weekend. I use a Weber kettle like Claire and have done a lot of pulled pork on it over the years. I grill much more often than I smoke, and pulled pork is a great option for the more novice smokers out there. It has a lot more room for error regarding…
