I understand, I just think it’s silly.
I understand, I just think it’s silly.
I am a gas stove user with an older house and no 220 hookup. I’ve also been induction-curious for a while, but don’t want to deal with costly wiring issues. I recently learned a couple of companies are developing battery induction stoves that plug into a standard 120 outlet. The stove would essentially run off of the…
I understand why he wasn’t mentioned, but it’s silly to say (paraphrasing) “the original series followed Eric, Donna, Jackie, Fez, and Kelso” without mentioning the other main character. It would be like saying Roseanne followed the lives of Dan, Becky, Darlene, and DJ, or Seinfeld was about Jerry, Elaine, and George.
Because the paragraph I referenced in my post essentially said the original show was about Eric, Donna, Jackie, Fez, and Kelso. That simply isn’t accurate. Danny Masterson’s terrible behavior have nothing to do with the premise of the original show.
And what? The person I was replying to seems to be under the impression those mentioning what I explained in my post thing Hyde should be part of the new show. I don’t, and I don’t think any of the others do either.
The author of this article couldn’t even be bothered to look up the sentencing guidelines for this crime if Baldwin was found guilty.
I replied to another comment about the same thing, but I’ve tried this at a place that usually undercooks their pizza, and it ends up having the opposite problem. To them well done means burnt.
There is a pizza place near me that makes my absolute favorite pizza...when they get it right. That happens maybe 20% of the time. It’s almost always undercooked. I’ve tried ordering it well done. Well done to them means “burn the pizza”. They sadly don’t have an option to order it just right.
It’s not really obvious until you actually try to remove a slice from the box. It’s likely you never knew.
I think you’re missing most people’s points about Hyde. I made one of the comments. My point isn’t that he should be part of the new show (he shouldn’t), but that when they list the main characters of the original show he is omitted. It would be the same if someone was describing The Office and didn’t mention Dwight,…
She also wasn’t part of the main cast.
Is the microwave vented to the outside though? Mine is, and I’ve always used it when I cook. I realize that the crappy 300 cfm fan in it isn’t enough, but it’s still better than using nothing at all.
I find that very few places ever slice it correctly in the first place. I almost always have to complete several cuts.
I’m not referring to dropping him in the new series, I’m referring to the author’s description of who the original series focused on.
I didn’t even watch the later seasons because the show got pretty terrible. That said, it doesn’t matter if his schtick wore off, my point is that his character was part of the main cast, and therefore gets a lot of screen time. It’s impossible to separate the original series from him. It would almost be like trying…
In that original series, which aired from 1998 to 2006, we followed Eric Forman (a nerdy, mop-haired Topher Grace) and his cadre of friends, which included next-door neighbor and crush Donna (a lanky, dry-witted Laura Prepon), lovebirds Kelso and Jackie (Ashton Kutcher in full airhead mode alongside Mila Kunis as a…
I’ve never seen an electric stove that uses a 120 outlet, I think they are all on 220. The stove I describe is not at all modern, it is from the early 70's.
This is a good example of a comment that sounds like a great solution, but also comes from a privileged position. I have a job where I can just stay home and work if the weather is bad. It is also a good job that provides me with enough money to buy things like snow tires. None of those things are true for the dude…
I think the step genre thing is just perpetuates its self somehow. It’s not something I’m interested in, but I click on them simply because they are popular. I couldn’t care less about what roles they are playing.
I prefer cooking with gas over traditional electric, but boiling water is one of the few things an electric does better than gas. It has do with the the coils being in direct contact with the pan and less heat being lost up the sides. I cook on gas at home, and on a coil electric at my family’s place in the country. I…
