So if you will only try canned, how do you know that is true?

I don’t think you’ve ever had my cranberry sauce.

I sort of disagree. For my family mashed potatoes are a common year round food, yet I would still miss them at Thanksgiving.

Your food preferences are objectively bad.

I’ll admit that I don’t make stuffing totally from scratch, I buy the bagged stuff with the cubed, dried bread, but all sorts of other effort goes into it.

Who uses boxed stuffing at Thanksgiving? That really is criminal. We used to occasionally eat Stovetop Stuffing as a quick side for a weeknight dinner, but I’d never dream of it for Thanksgiving.

You already mentioned it, but the only one worth banning to me is the canned cranberry sauce. I take this personally, because I’ve been making cranberry sauce for my family’s Thanksgiving for the last 15 years. Most people seem to enjoy it, but there are always the few who say “no thanks, I only like the canned

You have to haul out your own leaves? Dude, that sounds awful.

Can you explain to me what leaves have to do with what you drive?

Here’s another: Exercise the water shutoff valves at every sink, toilet, and other plumbing fixture in the house. These definitely seize up over time, and that can lead to a bad situation when you need to shut off water quickly.

I would say to leave it off. Even if you’re applying to a company with a mandate, the hiring manager, or someone else involved in the interviews might be an anti-vax moron, and it could rub them the wrong way. I’m by no means siding with these idiots, but I wouldn’t include it.

Oh I definitely treat myself. I don’t stress eat, I just love eating, almost like it’s a form of entertainment. Unhealthy snacking was the biggest problem for me. I’m now allowing myself one unhealthy snack per week on Saturdays.

You are being absolutely ridiculous. Are you including all forms of consumption? If you were only talking about the edible route, sure. If you’re including smoking, which is still the most popular intake method, your claim that it’s safer than water is complete bullshit. The smoke has pretty much all of the same

I’m with you for the most part, but for me space holds a special appeal.

I mean it’s just a casual comment from one spouse to the other, I really don’t think we’ve gotten to the point where that is unacceptable. We also always use bowls/plates for snacks, but tend to refill them when they are empty. My wife is one of those lucky people who seems to be able to eat just about anything

Do you mean the physical challenges experienced by those in zero gravity, as well as the g forces of taking off, etc? Of course. But how many people who have been to space regret having the experience?

I would weigh considerably more if I never used this phrase. When my wife and I sit on the couch together we will typically have a snack. I will continue to eat as long as its next to me. Once I know I’ve had as much (or more) than I should, I ask her to take it away, which means she will sit it on the other side of

I fully understand all of the various problems people have with the burgeoning space tourism for the rich industry. That said, I’m 38 years old, and I think there is a reasonable chance that space tourism could become inexpensive enough to be a once in a lifetime splurge type trip before I die. On a personal level I

Our dishwasher broke back in the spring, and due to the short supply of everything, it took about two months to get the parts to repair it. We quickly learned that washing dishes for a family of four who eat all of their meals at home takes up a helluva lot of time, especially when that time isn’t budgeted into your

We’ve of course taught our kids how to behave with other people. That said, we teach them that beliefs don’t deserve respect, people do. We also teach them that not all opinion or beliefs should be considered with equal weight. Teaching otherwise is how you end up with Aunt Jane believing she knows more about vaccines
