Which is why I mentioned that in my second sentence.

Interesting, does your spouse also go into coughing fits from smoking? I don’t, which is why it baffles me.
There is no science to support your claim that it is “safer than table salt”, that’s nonsense. If you’re talking strictly about consuming it as an edible, sure. I’m someone who does enjoy it, but I don’t lie to myself and claim that smoking has no negative health effects. The fact is anything you ignite and inhale…
Everything here is absolutely true, the US has a huge problem with sex education. We’ve tried to right that in our own little way with our kids, and have addressed questions honestly as they’ve come up. We apply that policy to all topics, and don’t patronize or outright lie to them.
The “simple accurate answer” is that there is no testable evidence that supports any god claims.
I don’t believe a significant percentage of our lawmakers are actually devoutly religious. They use it to further their political agenda, plain and simple. In some cases this is simply to appeal to voters, as many people from either side of the aisle would never vote for an open atheist.
Interesting. I maybe notice some difference depending on strain, but they all seem to cause me to hack up a lung when I vape. I don’t know much about terpenes, but I only buy high % stuff in the 25-30% range.
Remembering that whole “vaping disease” thing?
This has been an interesting topic in my house, as my wife and I are both atheists. We didn’t bring up religion with our 8 year old until he came across it on his own. He’s always been a very logical type of person, and was drawn to learning about things like geography, science, astronomy, and geology at an early age.…
From my own childhood I would have to say Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer. Those scenes with the Abominable Snowman freaked me out. There was also Berenstain Bears movie about Big Paw that scared me quite a bit.
That’s what my wife and I do every time we get in the car. I have hundreds of albums on my phone, don’t need anything else. We’ve had our current vehicle for about three years, and I’ve never even changed the radio presets.
I share a car with my spouse. We have a 9 inch height difference, so everything has to be completely adjusted each time we switch. I would love to have memory seats, but am too cheap to spring for them.
I happen to be an employee of the company that makes vehicles with Onstar. Whenever we get a new vehicle I sign up for the free trial. I find cancelling it to be harder than any other service I have ever cancelled. Next time we get a new vehicle I will pass on the free trial.
I do wonder if people who parallel park often use it regularly. As I said, I rarely parallel park, and am embarrassingly bad at it because of that. When you never use a skill you tend to lose it.
Yeah, I did think about that, but it definitely isn’t worth the subscription fee. It’s my hope that if I’m ever injured enough that I can’t make the call, someone else on the road will. If I happen to be involved in a single car accident on a deserted rural road, I guess it’s just my fate.
I don’t live in or frequent locations where I need to parallel park, but have tried out these systems a few times. As someone who only finds the need to parallel park once per decade or so, I would definitely use it in those rare occurrences.
But do you have those head and neck warmers?
This is one I disagree with. I love never having to take the keys out of my pocket. I would never willingly buy another car without this feature.
I know a surprising number of people who pay to subscribe to it.
Specific to GM I would say Onstar. Let’s see, I can subscribe to navigation, which I can do through my phone via Carplay. Okay, what about roadside assistance? I already get this via my insurance at a low cost. Fine, we can offer you a mobile hotspot plan. Again, I can already use my phone for this.
