As someone who lives in a cold state, I wholeheartedly disagree with you on heated seats. I would never willingly buy a car without one at this point.

This here is a nice guy.

Thanks, that’s the one I couldn’t think of. I’m too young to have “enjoyed” those in their heyday, but I do remember seeing people drink them at parties when I was a kid. I had very young parents, so there were a lot of parties.

That’s a little on the nose. Maybe Typhoid Mary instead?

This decoration has probably been widely shared, but I enjoy it. My wife won’t let me put one up.

The C7 is front engine. This article is about the C8.

I always assumed hard seltzers were just the latest fad in the alcopop category. Nothing seems to have staying power here. You can go back to Zima (and whatever predated it), then Smirinoff Ice, Bacardi Silver, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, etc etc.

I’m not talking about eating burned or spoiled onions, I’m talking about onions that have a small chance of being contaminated with salmonella, and that are still perfectly fine if cooked.

My family owned both a yellow ‘73 and a white ‘79 Ford LTD. The older one was my favorite. It was similar to this photo, but had fender skirts, and headlights that flipped open when they were on. That’s probably why I still love land yachts.

Your question kind of answers itself doesn’t it? If around 50% is at high risk, that means around 50% is not. I happen to fall into the second category.

Playing it on Switch sounds great. Now I’ll have to learn how to use the parental controls to keep my 8 year old out of it.

Who’s Milly? Is this some kind of new “ok boomer” type joke I’m unaware of?

Oh I agree with your point as well from a political perspective. He made campaign promises to “follow the science”, and by getting ahead of the science, he opened himself up to criticism.

The people I’m talking about think the movie is hilarious, and one of them often cites the “Sheriff’s a n*****” line as his favorite.

The timing difference isn’t really the issue to me. To me the issue is that the administration came out and told everyone to expect boosters, but once the FDA and CDC reviewed the data, they said a much narrower swath of the public would be eligible.

I can’t remember if it was Norman Lear or Carol O’Connor, but I remember reading that one of them was bothered by letters they received that praised Archie as a hero.

If it wasn’t clear I wasn’t being critical of the movie, I’m a huge fan of it. I am being critical of people, who still see the message they want to see.

Not come out with messaging ahead of the reviews that everyone should expect to get a booster 8 months after their second shot. Here is one of the many news stories out there from the time the admin was promoting that line of thought https://www.businessinsider.com/fauci-biden-booster-after-8-months-not-5-2021-8

I would get it. My kids are 5 and 8, so will hopefully be eligible soon. If I were in your situation I’d get it without question.

We’ll also be 6 months at the end of Oct, and the concert in question is Nov 15. That would be pretty perfect timing for the show.
