Wouldn’t it be safe to continue using possibly contaminated onions in cooked dishes? Just wash your hands after cutting them, and don’t use the knife/cutting board for any other raw ingredients after cutting the onions and you should be fine. Fall is soup/chili/stew season, no reason to throw out onions that can be

(Thought better of my comment)

Our school has no testing requirements as far as I can tell. We just do the responsible thing and get them tested every time they are sick, which happens to be a lot for a 5 and 8 year old.

Thank goodness, this can’t come soon enough. I also wonder what this means for testing when kids get sick. We currently get our kids tested every time they have a minor cold, which really stinks for them. I suspect we will still need to in order to be responsible, but it will be nice when they don’t have to go through

You are incorrect and dying on the wrong hill. I can’t get into more details without risking my livelihood, but they are not getting chips at the expense of Silverado.

This list needs more Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is the best show about terrible rich people.

I recognize that people need to be careful, and that most work friendships don’t go beyond the office, or last long after someone leaves, this isn’t always the case. Two of my closest friendships are with people I met at work, and I haven’t worked with one of these people in 12 years.

Grandma did smoke for many years and quit in her 60's, largely because of me. I was probably about 7 years old when I learned how bad cigarettes were for your health. I loved my grandma, and was terrified about what that meant for her. I hounded her relentlessly until she quit. I suspect that may have added some years

I’m definitely on the lookout for a good quality dining set. We redid our kitchen three years ago, and bought what we thought would be a decent dining set to replace our old cheap one. We spent $1,200, and while I know that doesn’t reach the “fine” furniture category, we thought it would at least get us something of

I’m younger than you as I was 4 when it debuted, but I have the impression. We purchased a Mel Brooks Blu-ray boxset a few years ago and revisited it, and neither my wife or I enjoyed that one.

At 94, my grandma is of similar vintage to the queen. Her diet has never been healthy; as an example, when I was growing up she’d pick me up from school and stop for a Big Mac as a pre-dinner snack. She’s in very good health for her age, and still lives on her own. Grandma’s doctor recently told her she needs to cut

Ignore my prior comment. As someone pointed out, I misread what you said. Negative 5 stars for me.

You’re right, it appears I did. I didn’t think Gregory Hines was right for Blazing Saddles.

I don’t think administrators are usually unionized, at least not in the US. Maybe it’s different in Canada.

I’ve honestly never been a fan of the Spaceballs movie. I’m a huge fan of Mel Brooks, but I didn’t think it was that funny, and don’t think it’s held up all that well.

I think you’re a bit mixed up with Pryor. I know Brooks wanted him to play the role, but that fire incident came several years after Blazing Saddles.

Definitely worse than a fingernail of known origin.

Yeah, I will still stick with console games for the most part. I like to know that my gaming system will meet all the requirements of a game with no questions asked, and don’t want to spend time tweaking settings. The other reason is that I sit at a computer desk all day, and on the rare occasion I’m able to game, I’d

Maybe we’ve just gotten lucky, but we’ve recently touched up some spots using paint out of the original cans that were first opened 12 years ago when we moved into this house.
