If you asked whether the dude you concussed was okay, maybe they wouldn’t be trying to fight you. That’s my point. He seems like trash. Hope he enjoys his suspension. I also hope he enjoys getting his fingers sprained and his eyes poked out over and over again the next time he plays the Ravens. I’m figuring there are

It was hard to watch. The expression immediately on his face was scary, and it just stayed there.

Which is fundamentally stupid given that no one ever gets hurt when anyone throws a punch that I can recall (helmets, facemasks, gloves, mouthguards,) but a dirty hit will cost some guy the memory of his first kid being born eventually.

He also could have shown some trace of concern after he clearly, clearly has scrambled the guy badly. The expression on Flacco’s face was instantly pretty scary. He looked concussed immediately. Alonso spends the next how many minutes charging around like he’s looking for who insulted his mom?

Well, now, they might have exceptional gay conversion facilities. World-class, even.

I think this is a garbage decision by the Yankees. I’m disappointed, and I think it’ll mean they lose next year as a meaningful shot to get better.

That would define wasted time.

I’ve always had a positive impression of the guy, and he’s played tremendous football.

But he’s really, really a hard guy to pull for at the moment, it seems like he’s going out of his way to be sort of prickish.

Oh, I’ve heard people use “architect” as a verb.

The kind of people who use “effort” as a verb love it.

They are awful, awful people.

The kind of people who would totally be in a meeting with... Ivanka Trump.

Happy birthday, everyone, hope you have an otherwise great day.

I get that shots on goal matter, but it’s a sign of his durability blah blah that he’s SEVENTH all time on the passing list... that’s higher than I had possibly imagined, in abstract. Seventh all time on touchdowns, as well. Sixth on all time completed passes, and it just kind of goes on...

Scratch the question on ‘Melo. I can see that everyone who’s scored anywhere around what he has is in the HOF for the NBA, so I figure he would be as well... I stand corrected.

I liked Carmelo as a Knick, despite all the press and complaining from fans, but do you think he’s making the HOF? I figured his lack of deep playoff runs would kill him.

With Manning, I remember looking up his stats a year or two ago and being genuinely shocked at how high up the overall career lists of QB stats he

I envy people who like a burned marshmallow. Saves time.

I’m pretty sure trolling Browns QBs is being done, as always, by god himself. He’s got it in for them.

The only quarterback with multiple super bowl wins who isn’t in the Hall of Fame is Jim Plunkett, with half the yards passing Manning already has. I just think it’s going to be difficult overall to say he doesn’t make it, especially given that they were two super bowls that people will watch on NFL films in 20 years.

7-9 gets you nowhere, and you get a worthless draft pick. 2-14 means you get to skip watching on Sundays (I’m enjoying taking my kid out for bike rides,) and you get a decent draft pick.

0-16 is the worst. Just below .500 is enough to keep you paying attention far too long, and the outcome is profoundly mediocre.

It’s apparently something to do with how they shed heat, and they can damage their internal organs by running without pause. I think sled dogs would be more suited to running tremendously long distances, but they too can be run to fatal exhaustion, apparently.

But for the super bowl factor.

I could see them messing up and getting to 4-12. Which is a tragic record in all senses.
