The fact that Obama was a great enough leader to repair our relationships with the world after W is a remarkable achievement of his. The next person would have to be at least twice as intelligent, charming, and charismatic as Obama, and I’m really not sure that’s humanly possible.

Even then though, I don’t know. I think we got a lot of goodwill towards us from the world community after 9/11, so with bush and Iraq, we were judged but maybe not as harshly as we could have been. And there was some benefit of the doubt given because our leaders had lied to us.
