compounds depending on the attachments can be made very easy to shoot. They let off most of the weight at full draw and they have so many attachments that it takes the fun out of the sport.

I completely disagree with this statement. I'd like to see a regular person be able to pull back a 50# recurve bow, aim it (given alittle help by a SINGLE dot), and then fire it accurately. My 45# bow when I started out made my arms shake seconds into pulling the bow back. Unlike a compound a recurve does not let off…

I personally use a leather glove designed for archery. It has leather covering your tips of the shooting fingers only.
