She knew exactly what Diane was doing and why. She knew Diane wanted to buy out Cary. And lied on Cary's face at least 2 times about it. She can't say to Cary "I can't take side" (because I want to use Diane to get what I want for me and for my new shiny friend/partner ) and then "I wil never do antything to hurt you"

I couldn't care less about what JM or AP do between takes as long as it doesn't affect the show I'm watching.

I don't know. I'm not even sure that it really impacted Cary's storyline and Matt Czuchry as collateral damage. Because it's not like they screwed the character over in the same showy way they did with Kalinda (with the Nick fiasco) and it's not like JM and MC just stopped to have scenes together (like in Kalinda's

I'll just add that first two points and the last one IMO are linked.

I didn't hate first half of the season 6. But I did hate the 2nd half. The SA stuff was boring and they separated Alicia from Diane and Cary, removing the best remaining part of the ensamble aspect, their remaining most powerful players who were suddenly replaced in season 7 by Lucca (Alicia new sidekick without past

This one is the one I'll forget. And second half of the previous one also can go.

At least you're complaining about the lack of a character who has been in the show for 7ys and not of one who was introduced that season, who has not background, no history in that show but already got plenty of screentime considering all those things.

There were hardly 3 minutes. And I also don't like Alicia anymore.

He sked her if Diane proposed her to join that "all women firm" farce and she lied right on his face like it was perfectly right.

That scene between Alicia and Lucca was also absurde. It's Cary, Alicia. Are you seriously considering joining Diane and screwing Cary over ? Do you think he'll be happy about it? Let's consider this. After you've basically turned his ideal firm into a carbon copy of the firm he wanted to escape from, now you'll help

How many times did you see him in court since Season 6? He hasn't been terrible. He has been completely MIA in court. Most of the time he was just a 2nd chair to Alicia or to Diane. And do you want to judge his skills because one case?

That Diane and Alicia scene was just awfully written. It doesn't matter if Cary is still Cary or not. What Diane said about him was harsh and unfair considering Cary's past and history. Maybe him and Diane aren't perfect match as for as partnership but to say that's because he's a below par lawyer is complete bargage

"The whole Cary arc has been about karma. He (and Alicia, to a lesser
degree—as she did struggle with doing it) did Will like the "new"
associates did him. He got what he deserved."

Yeah, but in the past, besides the awful "Cary being beaten up in a parking lot without any physical and psychic consequence", what they've started with him weren't big storylines anyway and most of the time had to do more with other characters than with him. Dropping for good any follow through for his prison story

That's normal since he was a complete a no entity since the end of last season. We got zero personal stuff since then and even at the firm he had not relevant purpose. He was left out of the court for something like 14 episodes and had nothing better to do than arguing with Howard. We don't how the prison experience

The show is losing sense of Cary because writers have completely dropped every development for his storyline since last season. How can it be that what happened to him last season had no consequences for him in the personal and professional field? How can it be that after Kalinda's departure he acted like nothing

Yeah, the only other firm in Chicago.

No. But forget about it.

Removing the ensamble aspect wasn't a good idea.

Well, reading that season reviews, I also wouldn't watch it. We've been reduced to be content with Cary and Diane sharing the same Alicia's space even if in a meaningless way.
