Beating down America one half-educated, half-literate dufus at a time.

Fish, and plankton, and sea greens, and proteins from the sea.
Overwhelming, am I not?

Ahkk!... Rollerball is peak 1970s anti-establishment film with the fatalism of Zardoz, the kitsch of Omega Man and a hint of the dysfunctional shiny future of Logan’s Run. What’s not to like?

...because I mind-blocked the Robocop remake into nonexistance along with the Rollerball remake. I defer to your original post which was spot on.

...make it a straight-up action movie, the way they did with RoboCop...

I’d argue they knew exactly what they were drawing with a high level of feature accuracy, same as you’d expect from any pro in their trade, even if the drawing itself is rough.

Not a video, but you could hum Blue Danube Waltz while staring at this possibility.

Why would they be confined to a cubicle though? ... wouldn’t the now mostly empty ship have plenty of free space?

Like a breadcrumb trail for the aliens to follow back to Earth?

all of the pieces reusable, returning to Earth, and people were welcome to hop back on for a ride home

To live to 122...then we could look back through cataract fogged eyes and dementia fogged brains and say “Remember the good old days with Kinja and what’s-her-face?” Yup, that’ll be swell.

This would help to warn people not to build in these areas much like flood zones.
