Use a USB POWERED Hub to power the camera and then you can use a cheaper USB extension since you’re only worried about the data (and not power) getting from the PC to the Hub. It should be pointed out that not everything in there is a video game. For example, on the front page is the PDF of the Lancer pen&paper source book that I backed on Kickstarter.  It’s why the text uses the phrase items and projects.

For FFXIV, it would almost work better to limit it up to a point in the MSQ, let everybody play up to maybe the Ifrit fight for free, and then that character gets locked out after that.  You can level all your jobs up to whatever the max is in the demo, as long as you don’t do that fight, maybe.  I dunno. 

They’re adding in controller support in the next expansion.  Doesn’t mean it will work well enough to actually play on a console, but it’s a first step. 

One of the upsides to the PS4 version is that it installs from Sony’s servers now, just like any other PS4 game.

I really wish it did. I’ve saved so much money on WoW by getting an urge, logging in the basic non-subscription demo, leveling an alt up to 15, having my fill, and uninstalling it all over again.

Your FF account is tied to your PS4 account, so as he tries to explain, he had to deactivate his PS4 account on the PS4, which locks him out of every other game he owns on PS4, create a new PS4 account, download the Starter Edition, then also create a new FF account for that Starter Edition.
