I don’t like that term “spectral” in this case. It sounds too much like “ghost” and ghosting video is bad.

This is a hard question because every FF is different, and they all bask in their own form of jank, whether story or systems related.  But that’s why I love them.

This was my exact thought. If you post a picture of a yellow ladder without posting the pictures of a dozen other ladders without yellow paint, you aren’t arguing in good faith.

I got mine in the mail earlier this week but still haven’t opened it.  I don’t know how I feel about the newest Dune movie honestly, but the vehicle designs are really good.

This is a nice feature. The 2D Zelda games on the DS (Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks) let you just write on the map. It was a cheezy use of the stylus, but it seemed pretty straightforward, and I never really understood why other games didn’t pick up some version of that.

Anything Nintendo. I haven’t owned a Nintendo system since the SNES and haven’t really ever been tempted to go back, especially in the Switch era. I hate playing on handheld systems, which is a whole other level of things I hate that other people seem to love.

If I am on my PS5, I’m sitting on my couch. If the choice is to get up and walk across the living room or not, then not wins. Lazy I said!

Yeah, but I am too lazy to do that when I just want to post a silly screenshot to a Discord group or whatever. It all eventually ends up archived to my external hard drives when I do the mass download and purge of my Google Photos library a couple of times a year.

For Twitter (and Youtube), it was a single step process. Push share, take screenshot (or video), press the button that posts to Twitter.

Hmmm... I’m going to need them to clarify. Is it less time spent on ads, or just like 1 ad, 20-30 times? I got real tired of that with the one movie I tried to watch on Pluto.

I remember a co-worker telling me somebody tried this on them in Atlanta many years ago. It wasn’t the first part, just the part where they were offering to pump the gas in exchange for cash: “Give me $10 and I’ll pump you $20” or something silly like that.  We just assumed they were using a stolen card when he told

Oh no, Molyneux is still shilling his vaporware to this day.

I realize I didn’t specifically make it clear, but yeah, battle speed all the way up, and then wait turned on, so it gives me time to select abilities.

Yeah, kind of, I just feel like ATB wastes my time. Like last time I played Chrono Trigger, I just cranked the battle speed up all the way, so it effectively acted like it is turn-based anyway because the bars almost instantly fill. And there are many things I dislike about FFXIII, but it letting me choose my

I suppose the old CRPG real-time with pause stuff like Baldur’s Gate or Neverwinter Nights. It was rolling for initiative in the background so it was still officially turn-based.

I grew up on FF, played the first one in elementary school, and the SNES and Playstation ones are some of my favorites, but my hot take (and this applies to Chrono Trigger as well) is that ATB is the worst version of turn-based anything. Make it actually turn-based like FFX, or make it real-time. ATB is the worst of

The last straw for me even bothering to try craft beers is when I went to a sports bar, ordered the one porter, took a swig, and the flavor was nothing but super bitter hops. I hate super hoppy beers. The color was dark, but it was an IPA in every other way. Why even bother trying craft beer anymore?

But who will coordinate the coordinators?

On top of the NASA stuff already mentioned, Redstone has also already been home to the Space Missile Defense Command for over 50 years.

I want Arbys to embrace this thing.  I am constantly making an unholy mixture of Arbys Sauce, Three Pepper, and Horseradish.
