I want so badly to send this article to my friend, but I know I can’t because she never wants to talk about the elephant in the room. The closest we’ve ever come to it is when I told, “You don’t need me to tell you you have a problem,” and her response of, “I know.”

Good luck to anyone who is ready to accept help, or help themselves. I never went to AA, never went cold turkey, but I’ve had many of these same experiences. Do for yourself, what you need to do.

I’d like to let anyone reading this know that there are AA meetings across every town and country at every time of day. You don’t have to pay any money to attend a meeting or even give anyone your real name. All it costs you is an hour (sometimes an hour and a half) of your time.
