I am not a Trump fan, nor did I vote for him, but his government is not illegitimate. If you win the election and you haven’t cheated (manipulated actual ballots) you won fair and square. Saying the government is illegitimate only weakens all the correct things you say after.

My grandfather was a good-ole-boy, and used to help Bobby with recruiting in South Florida back in the 1980s. He’d be tasked with taking out a young black kid, buying him a bunch of clothes, shoes, and groceries for the family, helping solve any money problems the family had, that sort of thing.
That is accurate. Both are bad. One is worse, but that doesn’t mean the other should be gleefully celebrated.

If you’re spending any time on r/all... that’s the wrong way to reddit. I’ve whittled my front page down to subreddits like r/campingandhiking, r/personalfinance, r/nba, etc. It’s a useful tool if you curate it for yourself and I haven’t seen a single trace of r/the_donald all year.
