It's actually more to do with attitudes to be honest. Canada is a good example of a country able to responsibly handle guns. I still don't think gun ownership is necessary, but they show how it's possible to do it. I don't think the current American psyche and gun ownership goes well together. It will never change…

There are approximately 1.8 million firearms in my country. I could possess one if I chose to, as I have the finances and personal character to be considered eligible for a hunting licence. However, I like most other people in my country, choose not to. The world still turns.
