Hmm, the salesman I know don’t make a percentage of the sale, they make a flat rate per sale.

While I don’t know as I would ever pay full price, waiting a week doesn’t seem like that big of a deal.
Just because a company is making more profit does not mean the employees are making more money.
Something about a rally car and the Baja 1000 just does not compute in my head. Hope they raise the ride height considerably.
Make it so if the sensor is tripped it shuts off autopilot. Just like opening the doors. That way, you would have to pull an Indiana Jones and not trip it or it shuts right off unless you can prove you’re in the driver seat. Maybe just a camera like GM has would solve a TON of those issues.
Good to know!
Whoops, meant to say stuck snapped off bolt.
At least by sharing you can hopefully help other people avoid this mistake.
Am I the only one thinking that it looks like they are being SUPER easy on that Lordstown truck to try and get extra range out of it?
Ah, that makes more sense. Either way, I would be fine with analogue gauges even with a $200 price reduction. I’m sure there are more items that are similar in that we don’t really need them and they just drive the price up. But not something we as consumers can remove as an option if we wanted to.
I mean, don’t remove EVERYTHING they’ve added in the last 20 years or so. Obviously there are some good benefits lol.
When we bought my wifes Golf Sportwagen we specifically asked the salesman for some and he said just drive around back and take them out of one of the cars that was just delivered. Glad I did as a week later the fuel rail came off due to dealers being dealers and had to tow it back to the house.
The BEST response. I almost spit my coffee out
Almost $500?? Damn, give me all analogue gauges. What else is adding ridiculous cost to vehicles that is not needed? No wonder vehicle prices are so high.
Just sold my Silverado the same way, 7 less than I paid for it OTD, 93k miles and 6.5 years ago.
Every single Autopilot involved crash has been ruled driver negligence, by the NTSB, the insurance companies involved, and law enforcement that did investigating.
Thanks for the math major disclaimer lol
You’re really running with this aren’t you?
Ah, that would be good. I was thinking like a regular cab pickup where there is no room for damn near anything.
A regular cab truck is really hard to justify for most people. There’s no room to store anything out of the weather and you cannot easily carry more than one other person. With the center console in this, if you had two people and even a backpack, you wouldn’t really have a place to put it in the cab unless you put it…
