If my post is pointless what does that make yours? The whole comments section is for discussion is it not? So why not discuss things instead of like the above comment where I basically got called stupid for having an opinion?

Depends on the situation. I’ve helped a guy with an old truck that died and wouldn’t start in the middle of a busy street push it out of the way. Also helped someone who was trying to jump a car but couldn’t get it to start with the tiny Walmart jumper cables so I hooked up some bigger ones and got it started.

Yeah, I should have worded it better. I meant to say it’s definitely not something I would pay for or want.

I wonder if it’s possible for the computer to “learn” to not put it into V4 anymore. I should reset my computer and see if it helps.

Well those damn clouds won’t get off my lawn!

So it’s either accept things the instant they are introduced or go back to the 1800's? Makes perfect sense.

Who said I was angry? Also, who pissed in your Cheerios this morning? I was simply saying I wouldn’t buy one of them.

I rarely hit V4 anymore. I will say on the highway when I can hit V4 which is usually only slightly downhill or more it does actually go up a mile or two per gallon.

I was going off the main image from the article. It is not from the back of the trailer but a composite from several cameras to make the trailer appear to not actually be there.

Damn, I would be pretty good with those numbers. I have no idea why mine gets so bad when other people tell me theirs does good. I even baby it and it still only gets 16-17 highway.

I guess but what’s the right truck?

If you get a run for and have a pole vault....

I think a backup camera on the back of the trailer is really all you need but I guess that’s just me.

I think it’s still a problem if someone is relying on the “see through” view and doesn’t realize how long their trailer is. People think too much of technology.

True, but how many people blindly follow blind spot monitors without looking in their mirrors without realizing they are not perfect?

I think it’s that they beat the competitors on cost. These things are becoming so expensive that people are trying to find something with a few technological gadgets and on the cheap.

He thought it said “compactor” which is what he calls his “truck”

I for one am very excited to see what the new F-150 Hybrid and Electric are bringing to the table. I think you’re spot on with this take.

My Dad’s older F-250 (maybe early 2000's?) got an average of 15-16 MPG with a giant diesel engine. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8 and with a 70/30 mix of city/highway I am averaging around 14-15 MPG. I love all the “improvements”.

Wait, so you can see what’s behind the trailer but not where the end of the trailer is? Sounds like a great way for some accidents. I’ll stick with old fashioned mirrors.
