It’s not even about the press. It’s just standard procedure for the dozens of canceled shows with 50,000-125,000 attendees in 2020. There are insurance issues, deposits, and a whole other rack of shit to consider.

I own a business in the trade show industry. This is just what every large show (minus CES and RSNA) is doing: swear it is going on, and cancel closer to the date. SEMA, AAPEX, and DSE were definitely super happening too. It’s insurance, deposits, lawsuits, and business.

Hi, I went to the inauguration, and they had single file funnels you had to go through for lots of places on the mall. All it would have taken was one person yelling gun or fire, and people would have died. Of course this is going to be a logistical nightmare, too.

As far as DC goes, I never saw rats when I lived in Anacostia like I see them as a non-resident of Logan Circle. Our cars were never consumed by rats like my friends cars regularly are in Logan Circle. As a current broke person, I promise I also dont like rats ha.

I took this to mean that 17.3% of children under six have poor parents. The parents could be in a variety of age ranges, whether they are 20, 24, 30, 38, 44, etc, and so are more spread out.
