My son is 14, and at overnight camp they told the kids to say ‘ninja’, so he does.

I don’t think students pay for the Greek system unless they are in the Greek system. Please explain. My friends didn’t pay for my room and board in a sorority anymore than I paid for theirs in the dorms.
I am Old, but at the university I attended, I pledged a sorority as a freshman, and most other sororities did as well. All the fraternity pledges were already in house as we went through crush. So either things have changed since the 80s, or what you are stating isn’t the case everywhere.
If you haven’t done so, please Google and read the whole report, as this article merely summarizes the horror they put this boy through. They put a heavy knapsack on him, as he lay on the couch, to stop him fro turning over. When he tumbled to the ground from the sofa, they threw him back on it. He was punched and…
Personally, I can’t get enough of Top Gun Melaina!
I believe that is from Scary Island.
Eh, I’m a little done with Black-ish and its mean treatment of Junior that goes way, way beyond ‘he’s nerdy and let’s make fun of that’. I’m over perfect Zoey and Dre’s slavish adoration of her. And his mother’s bullying of Rainbow.
I was seriously scared for her bones, falling twice in a row. No shade, I’m 52, and it was painful to watch. It was nice that they brought two hotel employees to assist her so she didn’t fall again, though.
IMO, there has to be some kind of ratio, like: number of years dating + number of years living together x number of years married = amount of months before you can get engaged. (I’m no good with math, but you get the idea). They spent over a decade together (I assume) and 15 months later he’s ready for another…
I love and adore this show, and Keegan Michael Key is #2 on my ‘list’, right under Jon Stewart.
My favorite part was when one of her bosses admitted she hired someone because she liked her ‘look’. Does she have experience? Don’t know or care, but she looked great! Only in fashion, kids, only in fashion.
She won’t. She’s waiting for him to die, which won’t be long, since he enjoys two scoops of ice cream with his nightly pie.
Now THOSE are some GD shoulder pads! Probably the same blazer bought for the first seersucker day in ‘96, because how many seersucker blazers does one really need?
When I was a Spirit Booster (flag twirler) in 1980, we wore sweaters and the typical short pleated shirt with an underwear cover thing. My daughter is a cheerleader now, and they wear bike shorts under their skirts to the games. To school, they have to wear leggings to the KNEE under their skirts and the bike shorts…
I work retail. Every place I’ve ever worked has had a dress code. My first job in 1988, at a major department store, if you wore pants you had to wear a blazer (a cardigan wasn’t dressy enough) and pantyhose with skirts. My current employer, a different major department store, no hose necessary and sandals are fine as…
Kids won’t wear snow boots past 5th grade. UGGs, yes, but those are ‘fashion’ boots. My 8th grade son refused to wear boots this year, my 10th grade daughter probably stopped in 7th grade when she got UGGS.
I’m a mom of a 16 year old girl. I’m not going to get into short length, because it’s impossible to find shorts that are fingertip length, even for adults. None of my shorts pass the test, and I’m not walking around in short shorts. I don’t even mind the bra straps showing, but let’s make them cute! Wear a bright…
I do watch Bill Maher. I watched this show, live, and though “was that an ‘r’ or an ‘ah’, but either way, not good.”
There was something about ‘air rights’ with Tiffany and Co. being in Trump Tower, too. Can’t remember exactly what it was... maybe he was so happy with the deal he named her after the store?
I don’t doubt Melania is a dedicated mom... after school, when Barron is home, like the rest of us. And I don’t blame her for wanting a child, either. She needs someone to love her, as her husband doesn’t, and his other kids accept her, but don’t need her.
