I like the idea of Lynch as an enabler of bad films.

Two possibilities here:

No use screaming at Lynch - the film was directed by Michael Almereyda. If I recall correctly, Lynch was an executive producer. I remember really enjoying it when it first watched it, but after a bit of thought the film seemed less than the sum of its parts. Maybe because it seemed so eager to show its hipster bona

I would have loved Lord of the Rings if someone had pushed Aragorn down an elevator shaft. Maybe not in the books, but definitely in the movies. Just before he puts on the crown and starts singing.

Ah hell. My eyes landed on the spoiler before I even saw the warning. Now I'm wondering how the show will handle it.

Now playing

"Not to mention insulting to people who actually care about technology".

This ending reminded me a little bit of Connor's disappearance at the end of Angel's fourth season.

Yup and yup.

This looks like a plague version of Eye Of The Needle.

I know! Every time I see her in a movie trailer, I know I'm going to have to wade through a terrible film just to watch Thandie Newton. But she earned a lifetime of goodwill from me for her role in Flirting.

I voted for "Rise," but there's a whole banquet of possible flops on this board. The only ones I'd feel really confident about are the cartoons, Pirates, Transformers and Harry Potter. The ones aimed at kids and families.

I loved the Beast/Mystique clip. Banshee and Havok didn't grab me as much. Does anyone else find the power of screaming yourself airborne a little silly?

So clearly the Silence are behind all those 'fake moon landing' conspiracy theories.

This episode was grand. Despite the few details that don't make a lot of sense, plus Rory's jealousy (I hope that isn't harped on in future episodes), I loved it.

COULD THIS HAVE BEEN THE BEST SMALLVILLE EPISODE EVER?

All they needed was a drummer.

Sometimes the credit sequence appears so late that it actually shows up in the next scheduled program.

Please accept this flaming whip as a token of my... oh. whoops.

Great, now you've called out the apologists.
