What do you mean by “all these adults”? She shoots one guy in episode four and only survives in this one by acting out of desperation and fear.

I really wish this had a theatrical release. But hey, I’m not going to complain that I can just wake up tomorrow and watch it at home. And since it isn’t Warner Bros releasing the film, I can be pretty sure they won’t cancel the release some time this afternoon.

I’ll only watch this if Gyllenhaal reprises his Mister Music character for the role.

C+? What are you talking about?

At the very least Reva should have parkoured to her destination.

My cat loved watching the Tachikoma-centric episode. It kept him entertained for at least twenty minutes. So thanks for that, Netflix.

A great film but they had no good car ideas.

It’s a cosmic gumbo.

Even though I don’t entirely agree - there was plenty of post-nipple goodness - I’m still happy that a show featuring a nipple-biting unicorn existed in the first place.

He’s the Tye Sheridan of Alden Ehrenreichs.

I meant to tell you: just put beans in your chili.

No discourse on the left sounds like it’s promoting separation of the races. That’s the discourse on the right.

I’m worried Mike Flanagan doesn’t think people can change.

I feel particularly bad for Eden Perkins, the kid who played Radical Ed. I watched an interview with them and they were thrilled beyond belief that they’d landed the role. On the other hand, at least they’re spared the wave of internet hatred they would have received if the show had continued.

Agreed. It got off to a rocky start (for me) but around the halfway mark the cast started to gel and the world began to make sense on its own terms. If nothing else, I’ll watch anything with Daniela Pineda from now on.

I was an innocent 9 year old, flipping through the (two available) channels when The Star Wars Holiday Special came on. Years later I thought I’d dreamed it, because it had the weird garish cruddy quality of a nightmare. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was real. As for any confusion, the cheapo variety show

A lot of this is wildly different from everything else I’ve read, although there seems to be a consensus that the expanded Vicious and Julia story isn’t successful. This just reads like a Bebop superfan’s ranting that should have ended up on an unread Tumblr.

Xialing taking over the Ten Rings made crystal clear sense. She was ignored as a child after her mother’s death, learned to fight on her own, built an empire of her own after running away, and now can rebuild the Ten Rings in her own image. Her entire arc lead to that moment.

Honestly, this review only makes sense if The Bad Batch made a habit of cutting away from the main characters to a bit of fanservice or lore. But it doesn’t. I much prefer this kind of thing to having the Batch go and find a Rancor or whatever.

Chopper is hands-down one of my favourite characters in SW. His first instincts are always sort of homicidal, and even when he saves the day it involves the maximum amount of destruction.
